We require an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead a long standing team that can elevate our culinary offering further. 
 
The Role: 
As Head Chef you be responsible for managing the day-day to operations of the kitchen.  You will lead a strong dedicated team, design seasonal menus with the support of our head office culinary team, maintain high standards and create systems that maintain this at the volume in which the hotel runs at. 
This is a hands on role that requires initiative, creativity, motivation and strong leadership with a commitment to being the best. 
 
Key responsibilities: 
- Lead, inspire and manage the team 
- Design and implement seasonal menus 
- Maintain the highest standards with food quality and hygiene
- Manage supplier relationships, ordering, stocktaking
- Client relationships with bespoke functions and special events 
- Ensure all OHS is maintained 
- Train and develop all staff from Sous chefs to commis chefs 
- Work within set budgets and forecasted events 
 
 

About you: 
- Proven experience as a head chef or Executive chef in high volume kitchens 
- Passionate about product, people, process 
- Strong leadership and communication skills 
- Want to be part of the culinary community, developing relationships with suppliers, community of chefs wine makers 
- Experience in menu planning and development
- Knowledge in food costs, stocktaking and recipe planning 
- Creative, driven and a calm organised leader
